Successfully drove once! Gansu Juhua TFE plant produces qualified products

On October 15th, the tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) plant at Juhua Western Base in Gansu Province achieved a successful start-up and produced qualified products, connecting key links in the high-end fluoropolymer industry chain and laying the foundation for the trial production of downstream HFP, FEP, and PTFE plants.

TFE, as the core monomer raw material for fluoropolymers and fluorine-containing fine chemicals, belongs to the key node project of Gansu Juhua Fluorochemical Integration Project. The process is complex and the control parameters are strict. The project was jointly established by Gansu Juhua and Jusheng Company to form a cross departmental research and development team. Under the overall guidance of the group, the team completed a series of preparatory work such as scheme preparation, equipment joint debugging, and hidden danger investigation. Safety risks were strictly controlled throughout the entire process, and the commissioning was successfully completed.
It is reported that after the TFE device is put into operation, the project team will continue to promote the trial production preparation of HFP, FEP, and PTFE devices, accelerate the integration of the entire industrial chain, and release the high-end fluoropolymer production capacity of the western base. This project is a key industrial project of Zhejiang Gansu East West Cooperation. After it is put into operation, it will further expand the supply capacity of Juhua in high-end fluorine-containing materials such as PTFE and FEP.
