Starting from April, ten giants including BASF, Covestro, Wanhua, and Celanese have increased their prices!

Affected by the fluctuations in the global petrochemical market, a new round of global chemical price increases has begun since April 1st. Major companies such as BASF, Covestro, Wanhua Chemical, Huntsman, Nvidia, Celanese, Komus, ExxonMobil, and Wacker Chemicals have officially implemented price increases, involving core products such as caprolactam, hexamethylenediamine, nylon 6, nylon 66, organosilicon, polyurethane system products (MDI, polyester polyols), titanium dioxide, engineering plastics (POM, high-temperature nylon, polyphenylene sulfide PPS, etc.), highlighting cost pressures.
The price increase of the following chemical products will take effect from April 1st:
(1) Huntsman (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will increase the prices of polyurethane and downstream products sold in China by 30%. Among them, the listed price of polymer MDI is 23000 yuan/ton, which is an increase of 5000 yuan/ton compared to the previous period. Huntsman has raised prices again after multiple rounds of price increases!
(2) BASF announced a price increase of up to 30% for some home care, industrial and institutional cleaning (I&I), and industrial formula products in North and South America, and a price increase of $0.2 per pound for caprolactam, polyamide 6, and copolyamide (PA6,66) in North America.
(3) NVIDIA raises prices of hexamethylenediamine and nylon 66 simultaneously: Dytek ® The spot price of hexamethylenediamine (HMD) is 26000 yuan/ton, up 7800 yuan/ton from March 1st; The spot price of nylon 66 polymer is 21600 yuan/ton, up 5400 yuan/ton from March 1st. The monthly increase reached 7800 yuan/ton! NVIDIA raises prices for hexamethylenediamine and PA66 simultaneously!
(4) Wanhua Chemical's subsidiary, Hungary's Baoside Company, announced a price increase of 500 euros/ton (approximately 3982 yuan/ton) for all MDI products;
(5) The price of PU system products from Covestro Shanghai Co., Ltd. will be increased by 30%;
(6) Seranis raises prices for a series of engineering plastic products, involving POM、UHMW-PE、LCP、PCT、PPS、PA6,66、PBT/PET、TPV、TPC、PP、PA/TPU/PBT、ABS、 High temperature nylon PPA, special nylon (LCPA), etc. (the price increase of some grades may be higher than the table below), as follows:

(7) Wacker Chemie has comprehensively raised the prices of polymer dispersions, resins, dispersible polymer powders, and silicone products, with a maximum increase of 10%. Wacker's silicone products cover silicone oil, silicone lotion, silicone resin, silicone elastomer, sealant, silane, silane modified polymer and fumed silica, etc.
(8) All grades of Ti Pure in the Kamu Asia Pacific region ™  The price of Ti0 ₂ will increase by $150/ton.
(9) ExxonMobil Lubricants has adjusted prices for its entire product line, with an increase of approximately 8%;
(10) Stepan raises prices for polyester polyol products in Europe and North America, including STEPANPOL sold in Europe ® And TERATE ® Price of hard polyester polyols STEPANPOL ®  The prices of CASE and specialty polyester polyols have both increased by 300 euros/ton; STEPANPOL sold in the Americas region ® And TERATE ® The price of hard polyester polyol has increased by 0.05 US dollars per pound.
It is worth mentioning that BASF has raised prices multiple times since April: it will increase the prices of its amine products in North America starting from April 6, 2026 (or as allowed by existing contracts).

Starting from April 15, 2026 (or as permitted by existing contracts), all grades and packaging specifications of NEOL in the United States and Canada will be included ® The price of (neopentyl glycol) has increased by $176 per ton on top of the $155 per ton increase on March 12th.
