Green Protection, Eternal Protection, Three Trees Industrial Coatings Cast Deep Sea Armor for Fujian Offshore Wind Power Tower Project
In the azure waters of Fujian Bay, white giants are slowly turning their leaves against the sea breeze. This is the site of an offshore wind power project in Fujian, located in the deep sea hinterland more than 10 kilometers away from the coast. Large scale offshore wind turbines are about to become important support points for the clean energy system along the southeast coast. Its ultra large wind turbine tower is carrying the ambition of China's offshore wind power to move towards the deep sea.

The corrosion testing ground of the ocean calls for 'super protection'
The strong corrosion, high salt spray, intense ultraviolet radiation, typhoon rampage, severe temperature difference, and continuous wave impact of offshore wind farms are intertwined as the ultimate test of equipment durability. Data shows that the average annual frequency of typhoon impacts in Fujian waters is 3-4 times, with wave heights reaching up to 8 meters and salt spray concentrations exceeding 50 times those in inland environments. These extreme conditions not only accelerate material aging, but also cause maintenance costs to skyrocket - a special maintenance requires the mobilization of specialized operating vessels, with daily rental costs reaching hundreds of thousands of yuan, and limited by harsh sea conditions, with an annual effective operation window of less than 100 days. Faced with such severe challenges, the anti-corrosion coating of wind turbine towers is no longer a simple "decorative layer", but a "lifeline" cast to ensure the full life cycle operation of the equipment.
Steel giant body infused with 'corrosion resistance gene'
In response to the protection needs of different parts of the tower, Sankeshu Industrial Coatings has developed a systematic and scientific protection concept, creating an internal and external collaborative coating solution. Inside the enclosed tower, the epoxy series supporting system forms a "double shield protection", focusing on dealing with the penetration of condensed water vapor and salt spray, and blocking the "invisible corrosion" that occurs from the inside; The outer wall adopts an epoxy series+polyurethane series anti-corrosion matching system, which has excellent UV resistance and impact resistance, and can withstand wind and wave erosion and temperature changes, ensuring that the equipment remains beautiful and intact for a long time. The protection system has passed the 4200 hour neutral salt spray aging test and the verification of cold and hot alternation at -40 ℃~80 ℃. The protection life can fully cover the 25 year design service life of offshore wind turbines, significantly reducing the full cycle maintenance cost of offshore wind power projects.

Craftsmanship with ingenuity, guarding the green dream of blue territory
Coatings are not only physical protection, but also one of the "partners" that coexist with the fate of wind farms. During the project execution, the Three Trees Industrial Coatings Technology Service Team applied the "Edge Strengthening Protection Process" to high-risk corrosion areas such as tower welding and flange connections, significantly improving the protection level of key areas; In the face of potential coating damage caused by offshore lifting operations, the team has implemented a precise "quick repair plan" to ensure the integrity of the protective system. In the on-site supervision process, Three Trees works closely with Goldwind Technology and tower manufacturers to strictly control each coating process, ensuring that key indicators such as coating thickness and adhesion exceed national standards.

Rising towards the sea, following the green path. When the sea breeze brushes over the tough coating on the tower, a harmonious coexistence between technology and nature quietly emerges here. In this blue territory where energy hopes are placed, Three Trees Industrial Coatings, with technology as its pen and craftsmanship as its ink, continues to write an eternal chapter in the protection of offshore wind power, laying a lasting and reliable foundation for the green energy landscape of China and even the world.
