Entering the production workshop of Sifang Technology, a brand new intelligent powder coating line for cans and boxes is running smoothly. The robot arm flexibly performs spraying operations on the tank body, replacing the busy scene of fully armed workers in traditional spray painting workshops. Here, there is almost no pungent odor and VOC emissions are approaching zero.

Sifang Technology Group stated that the successful application of powder coating technology on cans and containers is a revolutionary replacement for traditional paint spraying technology. This process, with its significant environmental advantages of solvent-free and zero VOC emissions, perfectly aligns with the national strategic direction of green and low-carbon development and intelligent manufacturing.

The company adopts powder coating instead of traditional paint coating, greatly reducing VOC emissions. The VOC content of paint coating is usually 300-500g/L or even higher, while the VOC content of powder tends to be zero. Replacing the VOC emission problem from the source is a true green manufacturing. The quality of powder coating is also superior to that of paint coating in terms of salt spray test, aging resistance, adhesion, hardness, flexibility, gloss and other indicators. At the same time, the powder coating of the tank box is carried out by robots, which can spray more than 90% of the surface area of the tank body, effectively reducing the labor intensity of workers and improving their working environment.
