Tianci Materials currently has an electrolyte production capacity of about 850000 tons and a lithium hexafluorophosphate production capacity of about 110000 tons. With the rapid growth of downstream demand, especially in the energy storage market, the company's core products and materials such as electrolytes, lithium hexafluorophosphate, and LiFSI have basically reached full production.
On November 20th, Tianci Materials (002709) introduced during a research activity that the company's existing electrolyte production capacity is about 850000 tons, and lithium hexafluorophosphate production capacity is about 110000 tons. With the rapid growth of downstream demand, especially in the energy storage market, the company's core products and materials such as electrolytes, lithium hexafluorophosphate, LiFSI, etc. have basically reached full production. Among them, Tianci Materials pointed out that there is room for technological transformation to improve the production capacity of the company's existing lithium hexafluorophosphate production line. The pace of adding new technological transformation capacity will be comprehensively considered in conjunction with changes in market demand.
At present, the relevant procedures for the company's technological transformation project are being applied for and processed, and the existing production line is expected to maintain a relatively high level of capacity utilization. The company emphasizes that the lithium hexafluorophosphate industry has experienced a downward cycle for several years, and the entire industry has reached a certain consensus that orderly expansion of production and reasonable profits will be the core direction for the future.
According to the sales forecast for the fourth quarter, the annual sales volume of Tianci Materials' electrolyte is expected to be 720000 tons in 2025, including about 310000 tons in the first half of the year and about 410000 tons in the second half, exceeding the company's annual target of 700000 tons set at the beginning of the year. In terms of positive electrode materials, Tianci Materials' current annual production of 300000 tons of iron phosphate project has reached a relatively high operating rate. With the continuous improvement of operating rate, the company's iron phosphate product cost has gradually decreased, and the profitability level has continued to recover. At the same time, the company has completed the development of four generations of products and achieved a high product qualification rate.
